Twinkl Spell N' Pop is a great app to help your child practise spelling all of the 1st 100 high frequency words covered in Phases 2 to 5 of the DfES document 'Letters & Sounds' phonics programme.A word is read aloud and balloons with letters on rise to the top of the screen. The child has to pop the correct letters and these letters must be popped in the correct order. The words can be toggled on or off, depending on the difficulty required.By default, the words are hidden at the start of the game, so please remember that if you would like to see and spell the word during the game that you use the switch on the main screen.You can also compete with others via GameCenter. How many words can you spell?Please remember to have the latest iOS installed and turn your iPad off mute before starting to use this App!Important note: This is not a phonics App. as it requires children to spell words using letter names. not letter sounds.
