Turf Battles is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that offers players hundreds of quests and fast-paced player versus player (PvP) action. As the name implies, Turf Battles' PvP centers around "turf," land and territories that can be owned by player tribes.

Turfs can produce unique items and gems that are available almost exclusively on that turf. A turf battle occurs twice a day per turf and the winner of the battle gets to hunt for the unique items on that turf for the next 24 hours. There will be more than a dozen territories and each turf has a unique geography making each turf battle like no other. Turf Battles' player versus environment (PvE) content is beyond traditional, repetitive monster killing. Players have the option of fighting easier monsters to level up or--for those who enjoy challenge and unpredictability--players can take on missions to seek out and destroy monster armies. Turf Battles is free to join and free to play forever.

Pros
USED to be a very fun game, with some VERY easy power leveling, but that basically all you did until you started doing clan wars, which was honestly pretty fun.
Cons
The game was never finished and is now closed. Don't bother downloading it, all the servers are shut down.
Summary
The company cut their losses after their online item sales dropped and decided to stop delaying the inevitable. It was fun while it lasted though.

Pros
It has a great PvP system.<p>Sufficient Graphics/Sounds.<p>A great Pet System.<p>Ability to Teleport at any saved Teleport Spots at level 100.<p>When you're in a ranked tribe, you're able to go on Islands. You're able to conquer the island by killing the Guardian Pet that roams around. When the island is owned, you can kill the monsters to recieve rare gems. But be careful of other PKers :)

NOTE: THE GAME ISN'T RUNNING ANYMORE. The Aeria Games company is thinking of buying Turf Battles. For the mean time, Turf Battles isn't up.<p>There is a Pet Glitch allowing your pet to have maxed stats at a low level.<p>You're able to Power-Level to level 100+ in a matter of minutes when partied with a high level.<p>Not really any quests.<p>A very poor community.<p>You're able to duplicate any stacked items. Like potions and cash shop scrolls.<p>The GM's know very little English, and they rarely help. Well, at least most know very little English.<p>Hopefully Aeria Games will buy Turf Battles and fix all it's glitches and bugs. And hopefully attract a better community.

Pros
This is a decent game. To answer some questions, no, there is no offline mode. Also, i have gained up to level 200 in one day. Just get to know a high level or join a clan, and they will get you to a VERY high level. There are numerous dungeons and huge bosses that take a long time to kill, but thats normal. Also, there is a cool teleport feature that lets you save teleport spots, giving very quick travel.
Cons
Glitches... there are alot. But a simple teleport scroll will rescue you (you get 100 at start, and you can buy more from Yuba) Some are fun, once I teleported to a place where it was an endless field. I once got stuck in an endless void and watched the game's world fall away. I have tele spots of this saved!

Great game. With blazing fast PvP you get 10 times the action. PK gets exciting when you have Master Skills against somebody your strength. Great graphics and even better gameplay. Once you get full +8 11s with a +9 11 weapon and 4x 6/6 defense, defense against magic rings, PK is exciting. My in-game character is JooGotPwned. My friend, Tesseraci, is always on. Keep on mixing up the name of Tesseraci 2 find him on, Teseraci, Tessereci, etc.
Cons
Hackers (Mob_Ally Tribe), loss of online GMs who care, and impossible upgrading, this game is perfect.

Well it doesn't take to long to update, about 30min I would say which is good for this type of game. The graphics are not that great but there not that bad either, I got to about lvl 13 right now and I think it has a lot to offer if your willing to put in the hours.<p>Yeah this isn't a bad game.
