Tristana Writer RSS Editor is an RSS/Podcast/XML editor that lets you create, validate, preview, publish, and submit RSS or Atom feeds onto the Internet. The 'create feed from page' function lets you input the URL of a Web page and scan it to convert to the latest RSS or Atom feed specifications in seconds. The simplified edit screens accept required or optional XML elements for publishing your feeds. You can add various fonts, colors, images, and HTML formatting to your feed descriptions. The 'code' function lets you view and manually edit source code in an expandable and color-coded tree format. You can 'preview' your feed as it would appear in your RSS or Atom newsreader and then use the built in FTP with multiple profiles to publish it to the Internet. Other options include duplicate feed creation, feed validation, iTunes support and Yahoo media enclosures for pod-casting MP3 and media files.

Version 5.0.0.191 fixes the ftp problem for enclosures.

This is by far the best RSS editor I've used to date. Easy to create feeds, podcasts and at a great price. Will ping your feed to most of the major feed search engines also. It's easy for the novice as well.

I've used this RSS Editor for two years now and it works flawlessly. The latest release version 5 adds many new features that makes my life as a webmaster easier. iTunes is now supported and multiple FTP profiles are great. If your a newbie then thei is the best RSS editor out there. For professionals like me I can use the editor and/or edit the code as well. And the built-in Feed Ping submitter lets me promote my feed with the click of a button.

I have tried many RSS/Podcast Editors and this has been the best. No with iTunes support, multiple FTP profiles, Limit number of items in a feed, and category support, I guess the best just keeps getting better. Still cheaper than feedforall and still better than them and the rest. And they now have a flash tutorial on their web site. Kudos Tristana.

It's interface and simplicity lets you easily scan a web page to create a feed, or manually create one from scratch. It has many advanced podcasting/media functions for adding video or audio files. This is an incredible value relative to competing products and offers many more functions such as feed submission, and support for iTunes enclosures as well as Atom formats. Easy to use for beginners, with advanced feed elements for professionals.
