Summary
I had an old "personal handwriting" font that meant a lot to me. 24 years later, I don't write like that anymore, although I'd like to! The original format was PostScript Type 3 (don't blame me, that's what I got when I paid the $90 way back when).
Later, I converted the Type 3 font to TrueType format, but now, using Mac OS 10.9.5, it renders on-screen, but prints out only as boxes.
I tried several online sites that offer free personal-handwriting fonts, but none worked well, & in any case, my handwriting has changed, much for the worse. So I wanted my old font to work.
TransType 4 did exactly what I needed it to, & did it quickly. The conversion is accepted by Suitcase Fusion, & the newly converted font prints just as well as the original used to.
I couldn't be happier at getting my old font back into usable shape again!
Would not work
