This game teeters on the edge of being very challenging and also extremely frustrating. In Track Trouble, you're given a specified amount of time to connect two stations with pieces of track and prevent the train from crashing. You must take every randomly generated track piece in order, whether you need that particular shape or not. If you think far enough ahead, you can determine in advance where to place particular pieces, but even your best-laid plans can go awry if the game refuses to spit out the specific piece you need. You can't rearrange a track once it has been laid, but you will find the occasional stick of dynamite for correcting your mistakes. This program's graphics are strictly low budget, and the quality of the theme music is rather poor, with noticeable distortion. The feature set isn't huge, but does let you adjust the audio volume and play in full-screen mode. Although younger players may find Track Trouble too difficult, older fans of logic games may be able to overlook its flaws.
