TP-Link Omada app is used for configuring and managing your TP-Link Omada EAPs. You can change settings, monitor the network status and manage clients, all from the convenience of a smart phone or tablet.

STANDALONE MODE

Standalone mode is designed for managing TP-Link Omada EAPs right away without having to spend time configuring a controller. Each EAP is managed separately. This mode is recommended for networks which only have a few EAPs and require only basic functions, such as home network.

How to configure an TP-Link Omada EAP (Standalone mode):

1. Make sure your EAP model supports the Omada app and its firmware is upgraded to the latest version. You can see the Compatible models in the following text.

2. Open the Omada app, and go to "Standalone APs".

3. Make sure that your phone or tablet is connected to the EAP's Wi-Fi network.

4. The EAP should automatically show up in the "Standalone AP" list. Log in to the EAP to enter the monitoring page, and tap on "Configuration" in the top-right corner to configure your EAP. (For new devices, before logging in to the EAP, you need to follow the on-screen instructions in the wizard to complete the Quick Setup)

CONTROLLER MODE (*Coming soon)

Controller mode is designed for centrally configuring and managing multiple EAPs at once. You can view device statuses, clients, network statistics and more. A wide range of configuration options are available.
