TMS Smooth Controls Pack(Delphi 2006,2007 and C++Builder 2006,2007 ) is a set of smoothly animated VCL components for Delphi and C++Builder with a consistent sophisticated visual appearance. Underlying technologies used are the Microsoft GDI+ API that has support for complex gradients, drawing with opacity and opacity gradients, PNG images with alpha transparency, picture and hatch fills and anti-aliasing. Various components also use a lightweight and fast HTML rendering engine for displaying text with HTML formatting capabilities such as specifying color, font, images, hyperlinks specifying. Both technologies are exposed via a class TGDIPFill that is internally reused in the components and that takes care of the drawing.

While the look of the components can be fully customized, it is often desirable to make the application look and feel consistent with Microsoft Office or Microsoft Windows styles. Therefore, most components in the TMS Smooth Controls have built-in presets for Microsoft Office 2003, Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Office 2010 color settings.
