Time Zone Calculator is an extremely basic program that allows you to calculate the time difference between two global locations. There's not much to it, but it performs the task that it's designed for.
The program's interface is extremely basic, consisting of a single screen. There are two drop-down menus from which you select your base location and remote location; there's a long list of locations, which is organized alphabetically. The program allows you to view the time difference between the two locations in three ways; the difference between the current times, the difference when the base location's time is 00:00, and the difference when the base location's time is 12:00. The program only displays the time in the 24-hour format, and we wish that this were optional, as it will require an extra mental step for many users to convert to the commonly used 12-hour time. That is the extent of the program's functions. It has no Help file, although we admit that a Help file is not really necessary with such a basic program. Overall, we felt that the program accomplished what it set out to do, but that it would benefit from the addition of a few extra features. Still, if you need a quick and simple way to calculate a time difference, Time Zone Calculator fits the bill.
