Timbeter works remotely, so you don`t require an internet connection to do your measuring and you still get results. Measurements will be uploaded to the cloud/storage module via Internet.
Timbeter utilizes both the metric and imperial measurement systems to calculate your timber volumes. You have 4 measurement options:

truck measurement.
Its also possible to mark the cull on the logs.

The diameter recognition algorithm counts the number of logs within a pile, providing the exact diameters of each log, the average diameter of the log pile, and the volume. These diameters can be filtered according to your needs: e.g. you can sort and view log diameters from different ranges.
The pile density measurement measures the pile density coefficient for pulp and fuelwood. This specific measurement provides the volume in cubic meters by using pile density coefficients inserted by yourself.
The pile measurement enables measuring the polygon of the pile with a fixed pile density coefficient.
Plus, Timbeter has a panorama function that measures large piles. The app stitches together up to 25 pictures. With the panorama functionality you can either measure the diameters, or the pile polygon.
The truck measurement is ideal should you wish to measure the height of the trucks from one side. Plus, you can add specific data about shipments.
All data from your measurements: size, location, date and time, species - are stored with each picture. Your data is both synced and stored in a cloud service accessible at timbeter.com, that can be easily analyzed, forwarded and shared via a link.
The Storage platform and app are bi-directionally synced; simply put they speak to each other and updates in your company-specific data are updated across your devices, whether in an office, desktop computer or smart device.
From accessing the storage module companies can insert the assortments, species, dates, wood quality and reasons for possible defects. You can set the range of diameters that are not acceptable and these will be automatically marked as cull.
The Storage platform provides an up-to-date overview of your stored measurements, which you can create your own reports and download in either an Excel spreadsheet or PDF format.
Users can view their storage status and detect assortment deficits or surpluses in a few clicks. For further workflow integration, Timbeter can be integrated via an API with your other company tools including CRMs, bookkeeping, payroll or ERP, thus streamlining your sales, logistics planning and reporting.
