Pros
The Wedding Lens is just the right tool for the Job. It's that simple. Great Service. Great Product. Easy Interface. Reasonable Cost (Either free or nominal charges for additional services/features). And Great People, too.
Cons
It's hard to find much not to like, honestly. There are a couple minor issues with duplicate users being accidentally created, and some additional ways to embed slideshows for the adventurous among us might be neat, but overall a terrific product.
Summary
The following summary is a copy of a thank you letter I sent directly to John Li, one of the founders of The Wedding Lens. I hope you find it helpful as well:
When family, friends or associates want to know the best way to accomplish something technical, I am generally one of the first people they call. They think I just magically know the answers, but that is rarely if ever true. In reality, I research. I test. I demo. I compare. I struggle. I research some more. And eventually--after ripping out some of what little hair I have left?I figure it out.
When it comes to group photo management, I have tested or used flickr, Picasa, SmugMug, Photobucket, Shutterfly, Kodak Gallery, and a number of other free and paid online tools. (I probably have enough free storage space online to host a few million photographs.) And yet, when it came time to host my own wedding photographs, I happily paid for The Wedding Lens? service. Those other tools have good features for individual use, but they just aren?t designed to support group events. The Wedding Lens is?from the ground up. We collected and organized close to 3,000 photographs from 20 different photographers in less than a week! Six months later, I helped my brother-in-law do the same for his wedding. No issues. No problems. Many compliments from attendees. Many photos we never would have gotten otherwise. And extremely helpful support the few times we needed it.
As a self-proclaimed technologist, I rarely say that a service or technology is ?the best there is.? I generally assume that there are a number of viable alternatives?each with their own unique pros and cons. However, when it comes to managing photos and videos for a wedding (or any other group event actually), The Wedding Lens is quite literally the best there is. It?s not even a close call, frankly. They are in a league of their own!
Very easy to use. Received 1000 photos from guests.

Pros
The Wedding Lens makes sharing wedding photos so easy. Since most of our guests brought their own digital camera, they could upload their pictures to the site and download others. Then we received DVDs with all the photos from the website.
Cons
It is so new that some of our guests were confused of how to access the site. The cards with the website and password are a must for guests. Just make sure they take them home!
Summary
As a bride-to-be I found The Wedding Lens and thought it was a great idea. In the future I will purchase the albums for brides in the planning process. The website is user friendly and easy to use. I like that you can have the option to download other guests photos. Never know who will get the best picture of the day!
I think the only downfall is it is a new thing and sometimes it takes people a bit to adjust to uploading their photos and trusting the website.
I like that the albums are password protected and there is an option to get business cards with the website and password information. The tough part is making sure the guests don't lose the cards from the wedding to the time they can upload the photos.
They do have an option to upload guests names that will send out reminders to guests which was nice.
Over all, I would definitely recommend The Wedding Lens. We received about 1000 photos from all our guests.

Updated on Apr 8, 2010
And I almost forgot... The customer service was great! Anytime I had a question, I received a response within the day (business days). Great customer service can be hard to find sometimes and The Wedding Lens gets no complaints from me!
