Nice simple format and very easy to use.

Pros
Great for anyone who has difficulty with analogue clocks or keeping track of date & time. Size can be altered and can be set to always on top. Shows on desktop or in google side bar. Entirely free.
Cons
You need to download google gadgets to use it. At the larger sizes it does become a bit blurred.
Summary
Nice, simple, easy to use date and calander that actually does go on the desktop, not just in the toolbar like so many others.
