The African Wisdom: Proverbs for Android

This application presents some African proverbs in their original language with their translation in English and in French, and also how they are pronounced by a native speaker. Listen to the wise old man and let yourself be imbued with African wisdom.

Proverbs exist in all cultures and languages. They convey the wisdom that is considered as a spiritual intelligence acquired in everyday life by people and which is transmitted from generations to generation.

Unlike traditionally written cultures, the Kongo culture (from the Kongo Kingdom and one of the hundreds of cultures found in the Democratic Republic of Congo) from which we draw the proverbs mentioned in this application, has an oral tradition.
