finally find something works...

Pros
I won't say it is great. but I was surprised the tts software market are so full of craps. I tried randomly 5 today and actually 3 or 4 don't even work out of the box. One is so crappy that after you press stop the program hangs (voice mx studio 4).
Cons
honestly, I don't know why these kind of software actually can cost 30 or so. They are just using the M$ default SAPI and free LAME mp3 encoder. It is pure GUI writing and API calling.
Summary
it works... I won't rate it so high if I didn't come across so much crappy software just trying to convert a report so that I can listen to it in the gym. about the comment of the previous reviewer, I think he can just set the bitrate higher for MP3 encoding. The default bitrate 32 kbps is quite low. Updated on Dec 25, 2009I made a mistake for my comment regarding voice mx studio 4. It did work well for winxp, but I am using win7. However, I guess most will prefer the SAPI from win 7 or vista as the voice is much natural than that of win xp.

Pros
It has a number of voice styles to choose from that sound rather natural. It's easy to use.
Cons
Everything works fine except the audio quality. When I saved a file to mp3 and played it back, it sounded terrible and different from what I originally heard. Plus, the audio only comes out of one speaker. I recommend this program for entertainment only. Not a good way to preserve important text.
