Launch Telnet, SSH, FTP, SFTP and custom commands with a click.
TelnetLauncher3 is a complete rewrite of TelnetLauncher, the original terminal bookmarking and launching software for Mac OSX. TelnetLauncher3 packs all of the features you need into a compact and efficient interface. Launch Telnet, SSH, FTP, SFTP and Custom commands with a click. Create "File Drop" commands, allowing you to drag files and folders to the TelnetLauncher window and run a shell command using the file or folder's path.Custom commands allow you to create shortcuts for any terminal command. A global status item menu (in your menubar next to the clock) is available to access shortcuts from anywhere! Shortcuts can also be accessed from TelnetLauncher's Dock Menu. Groups make it a breeze to organize and launch multiple shortcuts with a click. Shortcuts can belong to multiple groups, allowing for deeper organization. Window settings are pulled from Terminal.app, providing maximum forward compatibility.

I've been using it for years and being a Unix admin that connects to many machines during the day, this is an indispensible tool in my daily work. The release time between the recent 10.3.7 and the 2.8.4 patch was only days which really helps for those of us who are forgetful and upgrade without remembering that TL needs to be updated with each version patch.
No auto-launch anymore?!?

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I was using this prior to 10.3 and it worked excellent. I have over 30 devices I need to get into all the time. I downloaded the newest version, but it still won't work with 10.3. The application is worthless to me now. I have copy and paste each address I want into a telnet window. Big deal. You don't need this program for that. I wasted my registration fee!
Still waiting for acknowledgement of showstopping...

...bugs
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I make SSH connections all day and made the unfortunate mistake of registering this program a week before OS X 10.3 arrived. Now, as the previous reviewer has mentioned, Telnet Launcher has become useless under 10.3. I've written to the author twice over the past three weeks and received no response (though a previous support question of mine had been answered promptly). There's no confirmation of these problems on piDog's site. I would be happy just for the author to acknowledge the issues and pledge to update the program!
I don't like this lack of communication. Anyone know of an alternative to Telnet Launcher? The one feature I really like that this program has over JellyFiSSH is it remembers your passwords and doesn't require you to retype them every time! Aren't there more options?
Great App
