  Highly recommend TClockEX. Download the product.. give it a try.. you have nothing to lose. When Dale Nurden released his product 15 years ago, I happened to be in the right place at the right time to get in on the ground floor of this little gem... and I've run it on each and every computer I've touched since. I'd be lost without it.

  Easy to configure to display the date and time display exactly as you want,including seconds, which most digital clocks do not include.

  None that I could find.

  If you want to display the date and time on the windows taskbar and be able to configure it exactly the way you want it to appear, TClock is the program to do it!

  This utility provides the user with the most flexibility in formatting the time/date fields on your task bar. It offers syncing to any time generating signal.

  I must be bias, as I can't fault it.

  I have it as my default clock and it works very nicely for the most part

  I keep getting a prompt from Vista when I start up asking if it is safe to run; also the interface when changing fonts or colours seems overly complicated

  I searched for about an hour to find this software. I wanted a software that could replace my system clock with a more advanced clock. This program certainly did it, but I really missed the calendar. Put that in, and this would be the perfect replacement for the Win system clock. Without the calendar, it still rocks... Download, and try it out :)

  Pros

  Attractive, not resource intensive, customizable background/font color and fontstyle. Can format day/date/time in just about any fashion a person would desire.

  Cons

  Would like to see an install option which places the app into the startup menu, but I'm being lazy and picky on this point.

  I've been using TClock for years, and regard my desktop quite naked without it.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 9, 2008<p/>:) Just noticed on the latest version there's an option to place into the startup folder.

  Pros

  It has the lightest CPU usage of any similar software and fore the most part, does what it says it does.

  Cons

  The time got stuck and I couldn't get it to look exactly like I wanted but in the end I found another way to make it display the way that I want it to. I am using Vista home premium so that could explain the weirdness. It works now though.

  Summary

  Took me a while to get it to display just how I want it but it finally did and I really like it. If you need to see the date in your system tray (like me) get it.
