[Introduction]Tai Xiu, also known as sic bo (), tai sai (), dai siu (), big and small or hi-lo, is an unequal game of chance played with three dice, and of ancient Chinese origin. Grand hazard and chuck-a-luck are variants, and of English origin. The literal meaning of sic bo is "precious dice", while dai siu and dai sai mean "big [or] small".Tai Xiu is often played at Tt (Vietnamese New Year)[How to play]- Ti: The total score will be from 11 to 17 (inclusive) with the exception of a triple- Xu: The total score will be from 4 to 10 (inclusive) with the exception of a triple- Single Dice Bet: If one dice corresponds with a bet, the better receives the same amount as their bet. If two dice correspond with a bet, the better receives two times their money. If three dice correspond with a bet, the better receives three times their money.- Three Dice Total: + 4 or 17: 50 to 1+ 5 or 16: 18 to 1+ 6 or 15: 14 to 1+ 7 or 14: 12 to 1+ 8 or 13 8 to 1+ 9, 10, 11 or 12: 6 to 1
