Stock Tracker is my First Choice
dotysteve2October 25, 2016
Pros
Stock Tracker is my first choice on my iPad for checking what the stock market is doing. The list of symbols is quick and easy to use. The sort by symbol works great. The charts are quick and easy. Articles are helpful and to the point.
Cons
No Cons: I really like using this tool.
Summary
I hope the author makes a version of Stock Tracker that will run on my PC in Windows 10.
How naive of people to give this app 5 stars

Pros
- nice charts, unlimited size watch lists
Cons
- this app fails miserably in that it lacks cross platform synchronization. If you add a stock to the watchlist on your iPhone it won't appear automatically on your iPad. This is because the watchlists are maintained on your device not on their server. Security? Security Schmelakrycurity !!!! It's just a cheap way for them to operate and put the burden back on your lap. If you add a securitiy to a watchlist on your iPad the only way to get it on your iPhone is to put the two next to each other and synch using Bluetooth. ANd you have to know which version you want, so you're running two different lists and risk losing changes made on one device -- Then there is a problem with sorting. Everytime you start the app the watchlists are in the order of securities entered and you have to press a sort button to put them back into alphabetical. Rather inconvenient. Why can't the app keep track of your sort preference.
Summary
Nice interface and capabilities -- BUT TOTALLY PRIMITIVE In addition, there is no version for Apple desktops and laptops or Windows devices. Take a clue from Evernote or Wunderlist into the 21st century definition of cross-platform and synchronization.
