  This is such an underestimated drive repair software for Mac. I saved $50 and got this tool at $49. It rebuild bad directory structure of my hard drive in less than 30 minutes. Really Great.

  Few glitches but software promises to perform on corrupt hard drives. Stellar Volume Repair killed the directory problems and prevented me to format the hard drive. Didn't hesitate to ring up the Stellar Tech Support and they successfully fixed my booting issues with the bootable DVD created with the software.

  Summary

  I was looking for an alternative of Disk Warrior that can repair the corrupt drive and cost less. Luckily found Volume Repair which eliminated Invalid Tree Node Size problem in $49.

  My usb drive formatted with HFS file system was failing to mount on Mac. Volume Repair successfully mounted it and repaired the awful Invalid b tree node problem. My drive now works fine without any further issues

  Summary

  Stellar Volume Repair repaired my hard drive and saved worth of data but it failed to repair another disk (a removable drive). I tried Disk Warrior but it failed too. May be my disk was beyond repair but this software have got nuts to repair Mac drive, though it shouldn't be physically damaged.

  Demo version is of no big help. You have to buy the tool to perform actual repair on the drive.

  I couldn't afford to format my disk drive when it showed Invalid B tree node issue. Stellar Volume Repair got it fixed by recreating the disk directory and eliminating the issue.

  This tool did save my drive. It has power to repair a corrupt Macintosh HD. Talked to Stellar Support guys, they seems to be helpful when your HD is dying.

  Cons

  The tool can be improved in providing log reports and building more technical UI. Unlike, Disk Warrior, the software doesn't have data recovery. But again it is half the price of DW.

  Summary

  I gave shot to Stellar Volume Repair for my corrupt Macintosh disk and it smoothly repaired some errors. It brought my disk back to work and saved most of the data. This tool could be immensely helpful to users who might face disk corruption.

  It didn't installed on my Power PC Tiger.

  Summary

  Two partitions of my USB 2.0 external hard drive failed to mount on OS X Mavericks. Disk Utility told it had major corruption and asked me to backup as much as possible to other drive. I could have chosen to erase this drive in order to fix Invalid key length, Invalid record count etc. But I didn't proceed since doing this could have erased all my files from the drive. Comes in Stellar Volume Repair. Ran this software and it verified disk and then begin rebuilding its damage. Sometime later, the process ended and I could now see my partitions mounted on the desktop. To my happiness, the files were intact too. At the very beginning, I didn't even think of repairing something, which was beyond my knowledge but thanks to this tools that empowers user with resource & knowledge.

  It fixed those errors which were impossible to repair with disk utility. Secondly, the interface is self explanatory and easy to use. Full marks to Stellar.
