This App was developed based on the course Ecological Methods 1 at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. This course aims at improving the use of statistics to test hypotheses by researchers in ecology. It assists researchers with the selection of statistical tests by asking questions about the nature of the dependent variable and the independent variables that were collected in experiments or field studies. Using these questions, the App will lead the researcher step by step through a decision tree that ends with the best statistical test for testing the hypothesis using the collected data. It reports all the steps in the decision process as a summary so that the researcher can re-evaluate all the steps taken.
