Used Start Menu Organizer for Windows?
Editors’ Review
It is frequently the case that Start menu enhancements turn out not to be enhancements at all, but ugly, clunky, annoying modifications that we can't wait to get rid of. Start Menu Organizer, however, is a thing of beauty. It's incredibly intuitive, does exactly what it says it will without a bunch of useless extra features, and performs a truly valuable service.
Take a look at your Start menu. Is the All Programs tab a clutter of random stuff with no rhyme or reason? Start Menu Organizer can help. The program's interface is simple and clean, requiring no explanation. The program provides users with premade folders with such labels as Games, Internet, Utilities, and so on, and users simply move each application in their Start menu into the appropriate folder. Users can create custom folders as well. The result is a Start menu organized into neat categories, a place for everything and everything in its place. Start Menu Organizer doesn't contain a bunch of extra features, and it doesn't need to. In addition to organizing the Start menu, it deletes dead shortcuts, and users can create a backup of their original Start menu in case they need to restore it for some reason. The program also supports seven different languages. That's all it does, and all it needs to do. The built-in Help file explains all of the program's functions, but we doubt many users will need to consult it.
Start Menu Organizer is free. It comes as a ZIP file, but it installs and uninstalls without issues. We strongly recommend this program to all users.
