The Borg have retured and it's up to you to stop them in this heated mulitplayer action game.

The Dominion War is over. The three major powers of the Alpha Quadrant, once allied against a common foe, begin planning for the future. For now, an uncomfortable peace has settled in the galaxy. On Federation planets across the galaxy, the process of recovery has begun. The USS Enterprise E, commanded by Captain Jean Luc Picard, is assigned to re-establish Federation support in some of the more devastated systems of the Quadrant.

On the Klingon homeworld of Qo'nos, the population grows restless for battle. Newly appointed Chancellor Martok works closely with Federation Ambassador Worf on efforts to restore the Empire to its former state of glory. On Romulus, the Romulan Senate and its intelligence division, the Tal Shi'ar, conspire to tip the balance of power in their favor. Admiral Sela begins secret negotiations with unseen allies near the Klingon border (see screen shots).

And on the fringe of explored space, massive, metallic shapes move silently through the area, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Around them are the whispers of millions of minds working as one. The Borg have returned.

Pros
Well You can Play as Borg, Federation, Romulans, or Klingons... I liked the fact that you can do so many things under your comand that you wouldnt be able to in many other games. In this game you can control the Weapons, Transporters, Self Destruct, and you build your own ships and tell them where to go and what to do... I liked this game.
Cons
The only bad part is that it takes so much prossessing time that I cant run any other programs while its playing.

This is an excellent game. The best part is that it's Star Trek. Armada is a pretty good strategy game, except for the fact that the computer has almost no strategy. Yeah, the AI really is quite bad. The only way to get anything out of it is to edit the AI files. Anyway, Captain Picard and Commander Worf provide their voices for the game, which is pretty neat. I didn't notice too many bugs except the freezing once in a while, but after I updated my drivers that stopped.
It could've been a nice game...

The idea is good, the graphics are nice, but the sound... man, it really stinks, it was fine with a soundblaster pci 128 card, but with an expensive 5.1 all surround card and speakers, only half sentices came out of the speaker. Also... when i completed a mission or went from a game to the in-game menu the system just locks up, or returns to the desktop, now ive encountered some of this instability with several other programs and i found out that it was because of a amd athlon processor... it just wasn't 100% compatible with the game, now there was a time a pentium xx was all people knew there was... but with the upcoming market position of amd in the past few years, i think software development companies as in "activision" should give more attention to the potential that people actually might <<NOT LIKE INTELL>> so... the game is absolutely great, and i do not want to comment you guys at activision or any other company, because you should keep up the good work... but think about people like us, we cant play these games without restarting the comp or game every 30 minutes!! so basicly what i am saying is: this game is unplayable if u do not own a intel pentium processor!!
