Better off with Excel

Not web-based Very basic functionality Could not move to a different PC without $150 upgrade
Summary
This is a useful piece of software, but definitely not worth the price they are charging. Also, after buying a new PC they tell me I can't transfer the version I bought to my new computer without paying a $150 upgrade fee! Ridiculous. This software is a rip off.

Pros
Eliminates paper files. Easy to use and maintain. Saves hours of time for finding and retrieving employee data.
Cons
It is not Mac compatible.
Summary
Staff Files is a life saver. I own a small business and we can't afford a large HR system nor can we settle for storing everything in paper files. This is an easy to use and affordable solution that does exactly what I need in regards to managing employee data.
