It worked perfectly with my new USB sound card. I had a couple of problems with my equipment. It guides you through the process and there were no glitches.

I have no negative comments.

I liked it a lot and have nothing negative to say. The biggest feature is that it simple in it's approach and doesn't bog you down with all kinds of complicated features and it is easy to use by people who just want to convert a tape or an LP to MP3 files.
Have used PIA for years, only gets better with time.

Easy to use, easy to set up, easy to let it sit and record, and it makes noise when done to get my attention, but voice can be turned off.

After downloading and trying 5 or 6 different audio/recording software, this is definitely the best. While it doesnâ€™t have many of the super sophisticated sound editing tools that other software comes with, it DOES have what the casual user needs to transfer vinyl or cassette recordings to MP3s or CDs. Spit It Again offers an array of options to get the sound you want, minus the pops, scratches and hisses. And, what is unique about this software, is that it allows you to hear your results instantly, as you try different settings to improve the quality.

Could use some better tools to do a fade in and/or fade out.

Gets the artist and album info from the web and then allows to move the songs around to the correct order as found on the 8 track, cassette or LP. If available will get the artwork too. This is the ideal program for recoding music onto the computer for 1 finger typers.
Cons
Since they included the look up option, there is nothing to dislike about this program.

As this is a bug fix update I can only comment on the current program, that I've<p>been using for some time.Out of many others(complex and simple) this<p>program beats them all,the interface is the most user friendly I have encountered and you would have to be brain dead not to be able to follow<p>the procedure from start to finish,its ability to minimise clicks and other noise<p>on vinyl and tape is a bonus which is not often available at this price on one <p>program.For anyone that wants to move their collection of vinyl and tape to<p>cd's and they are daunted by some of the available( some free) audio<p>programes out there,I suggest they try Spinit Again, it's so simple.<p>(it shows we ain't brain dead here 'Down Under' )

I was looking for a simple solution that would allow bringing the old vinyl collection into iTunes and allow it to be burned to CD. Spin it again fits the bill perfectly. No fancy editing capabilities, but what it does it does well. It does a relatively good job of splitting the recording into tracks and has an easy editing interface to move the start and end of tracks around. It has several filters to improve the sound of a truly badly scratched record.
Cons
The filters to fix pops, clicks and hiss also cause some loss of sound fidelity (especially highs). Don't use it unless the record is pretty bad.
