Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems, that were only released in Japan.

Note: In order to use this emulator, you must find the games (called ROMs) that go with them on the Web. They cannot be included with this download for legal reasons. Click the two links listed to the right to get started.
