The purpose of this utility is to slow down a process using user-defined time intervals, but it doesn't allow the user to define a list of applications. SubzeroHeat's Slower has a simple and intuitive interface, though it suffers a bit from a dull vanilla Windows layout. The utility's name defines its function. The program lists all ongoing processes in your computer system, and you can choose the ones whose function you wish to modify. Users also can define, in milliseconds, the time of the delay and resumption of normal processing. This program might be useful when you're watching an important scene in your favorite movie on your PC or playing a difficult video game, but it's not recommended you use it for ongoing applications such as Word or Internet Explorer. Still, if you need a utility to slow your application, Slower is free, it really works, and is easy enough for all levels to use.

Slower is a Great program and very easy to use. You can choose which game you want to slow down or speed up and will not interfere with other games or your browser or your Internet connection. It will slows specific programs, not the entire system. <p> I been using Slower for about 4 months and is been fantastic and is Free. Slow down selected programs.

Slower is a program that slows down other programs of your choice. You set a delay and it will periodically pause and unpause the selected programs according to the stated delay. This program was originally created as a cheat to slow games down in hard levels but you can use it to your own liking. Version 1.1.4.7 offers two different delay times. One for the amount of time to suspend the programs(suspend interval) and the other, the amount of time to allow the program to run (resume interval). Slower then starts suspending and then resuming the selected programs in a cycle.
