Still a wonderful widget.

- I installed Slothcam 6 or 7 years ago and I loved it then. I'm glad that I reinstalled it. Still great.

- There use to be more locations. I particularly miss the Times Square cam at Friday's. It was close to the sidewalk, with an ever-changing stream of humanity. I always checked it before going out, just to see how warmly (or not) I should dress.

Fun Widget Suffers from Memory Use Flaw

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br /><p>This is a great widget and is a perfect example of a compelling use for widgets.</p> <p>Unfortunately, the software suffers from poor memory use design: as each frame comes in from a webcam, more memory is used and it is never deallocated. Thus you can get up to 400M of lost memory in just a few days of periodic Dashboard use. You can get this memory back by removing all SlothCam instances from your Dashboard and re-adding them, but this is against the spirit of the "lightweight" components they should be in the first place.</p> <p>I look forward to the fix to this bug, but until then, I need all my memory. Thanks for your efforts in developing this widget.</p>
