  Cons

  Small company. No tech support after hours at any price. Annual license expires without warning and no body to fix it on the long weekend!

  Pros

  Easy to use. Powerful. Easy to setup. COST EFFECTIVE. Table and quick food service, plus retail support. Inventory control, sales reporting, touchscreen.

  Cons

  .....NONE.

  Summary

  I've used Micros and Aloha systems in the past but didn't want to invest $25,000 or $30,000 for POS for my own restaurant. I have found Sixth Sense Cafe 11 has as many features as either of those programs for a fraction of the cost. Service was fantastic, support is timely. I would recommend the product to anyone.

  Very fast, easy to use. Features compare against Micros at a third the price.

  Cons

  iPad/iPod support isn't until spring of 2010

  Summary

  The stability of the Mac with the features of the best Windows-based POS systems at a fraction of the price. Setup was easy. I would definitely recommend Sixth Sense products for almost any food service or retail environment. Thanks for giving the Mac such a great program, and I can't wait for mobile ordering from my iPad!

  Vast improvements over previous version, clean new interface, built-in accounting and time-clocking, super-fast, great customer service.

  Cons

  If only there service was this good 5 years ago when we first starting using their program.

  Summary

  There seems to have been a lot of changes in the company over the past 5 years, and I'm really liking the direction they are headed. I truly think they are the best solution for the Mac, and we really like the program.

  Pros

  The inventory control, sales reporting are top notch. Custom report generator is there if I need it. Everything is very detailed and easy to use. My employees were able to get up and running very quickly and learned everything I needed them to learn, no problems. I've contacted Sixth Sense about a couple of issues in regards to using the software and they're always very helpful, very supportive. As far as value for your dollar, this software can't be beat. It offers the same features as more expensive names, for a lot less. When I asked if I could switch from Windows to Mac, they let me do so free of charge. When I bought an additional license for my system, they upgraded the whole system for the cost of that one license. I couldn't believe it! I'll definitely stick with Sixth Sense Software in the future.

  I can't think of any negatives. The progam just does what it is supposed to.

  Refusal of disclosure of info. as to updates &/or changes/modifications made to latest version, necessary to determine if problems have been addressed. <p> <p>Directions & guidance by the Tech.Support dept. were incorrect &/or were related to a different software system, and problems were never solved &/or left unanswered. <p> <p>System-Software developer/writer never followed-up with our situation & concerns, as promised on a phone conference discussing the problems. <p> <p>Sixth Sense Management & Sales Reps. refused to transfer our questions-concerns-complaints to the President-CEO-Owner of their company, or even divulge that persons name. <p> <p>The Software is inferrior to its' competitors, and worse, it is not complete nor adequate for its' purpose & function. <p> <p>Requests for return of our money has been denied, even after we returned their software cd & sundries. This, after almost four months of attempted deliberations with Sixth Sense Tech.Support & Sales Mgr. & Program developer. <p> <p>We are extremely dissatisfied with the software & tech. and the companies operations & personnel.

  i don't know what business this pos would be good for. I am a retail clothing store and the inventory entering is HORRIBLE! Also, it doesn't print multiple labels. You call to get customer service, which is supposed to be included for 90 days and they don't do anything except point you to the web site.
