Six Degrees of Separation for Android

Six Degrees of Separation is a way to connect actors to one another through the movies they've starred in. To win the game, you must string a series of actors together to reach a defined "end actor" in a limited amount of degrees.

To begin, you will be prompted with a list of movies the "start actor" has starred in. From there, you should click on a movie to be shown the cast. The actors on this list are one "degree" away from the previous actor. This process is repeated until either you reach the end actor within six degrees or you run out of links.

If you can't think of two specific actors you want to link together, you can leave either the start actor, the end actor, or both text fields empty to get a random actor. The random actor(s) will be chosen from a pool of variable size. The smaller the pool size is, the more likely you will get a well known actor. The larger the pool size, the more likely it is to get some lesser known actors. The pool changes on a daily basis based on which actors are currently popular.

In game, you can click on the person icon in the top right to see the actors you have linked together or the reel icon to see the movies you have linked together. You are allowed to backtrack if you don't like the path you are on by hitting the back button.

To make the game easier or harder, you can change the number of links from six to anywhere between one and ten.
