SimMold is the ideal software to simulate the injection molding process. Two modules are available:SimMold 2D - very efficient midplane/shell solver that can simulate very thin injection molded plastic parts,SimMold 3D - an advanced three-dimensional solver which employs state-of-the-art numerical methods to simulate thicker injection molded parts. This version is a reduced version of SimMold 2012 Professional and is limited to 5000 nodes. Recommended system is Windows XP and has been tested on Windows 7. Due to its very lightweight design and minimal dependency it can can also run on other systems such as Linux through the use of wine.
