SimCity 2000 allows the user to build and manage a hustling and bustling metropolis. You're given a plot of barren land to zone into industrial, residential, and commercial areas where people work, live, and play. Lay roads, subways, highways, and railroads to connect the zones and watch your city grow as citizens immigrate. As your city grows, you must deal with crime, education, and health issues by strategically placing police stations, schools, and hospitals. Add parks and stadiums, on-ramps and bus stops, airports and seaports as your citizens' needs grow. Manage traffic, the budget, and the needs of your constituents, or face riots, public ridicule in the presses, and eventual impeachment. (Hey, this sounds good!)

Pros
I have loved this game ever since it came out, and i still love it. It is one of the greatest games in simulation history.
Cons
There are way better version of simcity out now, and this one is kinda outdated, but its still good to stick to the oldies!
Summary
I love all simcity games, and this is the one that really sparked the industry and helped the simulation game departments go. Since then, they have produced spore, sim societys, sim city 4, etc. You can't go wrong!

i love the sims, but this game wont open.
Cons
when i tried downloading the game, the folder was ziped. And it wouldnt run. I tried clicking each thing that was inside the folder, and idk i need help please cuz i love the sims.

Great game, may be small file size but dont be fooled. SimCity 2000 has good graphics for a DOS game. SimCity allows you to start a new city on a blank map giving you options like play speed, Newspaper name, what to build, where to build, taxes, services, and much more. Good game for new and old computers alike. Runs very fast on a computer with Windows ME with 64 MB of RAM. If you want you can play a senerio in SimCity 2000, one for example is the Monster Movie where Hollywoods robot for monster movies goes biserk and starts to attact the city. Its then up to you to position Police, Firefighters, and the Army to save the cityand defeat the monster. Play the game and see what else it has instore for you.
