SightCU can connect to video camera web based servers. The App displays the video image from the camera and overlays an aiming sight for a paintball gun. Because the operators eye is not aligned to the barrel and sight of the paintball gun, more flexible firing positions can be utilised, including firing around a corner. The sight style,colour,size, illumination can be selected by the user. The sight can be adjusted for vertical and horizontal offsets. A range value is used to adjust the sight for the trajectory of the paintball. A Zoom function is available to provide a closer view. The App also records the video stream for later play back in Apple Photos.The systems is designed to be fast and simple to operate in the field. It automatically remembers Users settings and web page addresses. It can be used in both portrait and landscape orientations.The systems is designed around the AiBall video camera but other web server based cameras, with short video compression delays, can be used. The URL (Uniform Resource Locator) address is user programmable so any valid URL can be used.
