• Lots of value packed in this program

  Pros

  - good value for money - lots of useful functions for garages of any size (I really like the VIN decoder) - easy daily sales reports - appointment calendar is actually good - keeps track of my fleet sales - I like the Office 2010 style - Developer supports their own product

  Cons

  - It took me a while to install - I had to contact support once for help installing. But the problem was outdated components on my PC

  Summary

  Overall a good software package for my garage. I downloaded the trial and will definitely purchase it. Support is good and emails are returned within an hour or so. They do provide telephone and remote support but I haven't needed it yet.

  Summary

  I've been using and recommending previous versions of the Service Writer for years. I found the 2005 version a while back and liked the simplicity of it. After a few hiccups getting it installed I managed to have it up and running fairly quickly. When I received notice that version 3.0 was beta testing I had to download a copy of it immediately to see how the new version looked. It downloaded and installed easily and it looks great. It has certainly changed for the better and I'm excited to be using a fresh new version. The addition of the Accounts Receivable is awesome for me since I have a number of fleet customers in my shop. It is pricier than the 2005 version but it appears to be worth it.
