It can effectively be used for monitoring serial data exchange between serial devices and any Windows application, debugging computer connection with peripheral devices using COM port - such as modem, mini-ATS, projector, etc, for solving problems with serial (RS232/422/485) data communication control networks and devices, for software and hardware testing and much more. Pros
This software allowed me to code up hex or strings I wanted to send to an eval board we were testing, and it worked flawlessly. I could send and resend to capture our responses. Very easy to use as well. Highly recommend this.
Cons
Yes, this does cost money and it depends how much testing you are going to do. But, when you do need to find out if a serial port is up and responding, then this tool is well worth it.
Summary
Download this and try it. You will not be dissatisfied.
So, friends, I was really excited by this program.

Pros
I downloaded several programs for RS232 port monitoring and this one is the best. This product is fully baked. It is the easiest and very useful tool which allows you to monitor, display, log and analyze all serial port activity in a system. I also used it in my work to "sniff" the serial commands sent/received over the serial port.
