Draw chaotic fractal images, such as Strange Attractors.
This program draws chaotic fractal images, called Strange Attractors, and those with other math functions. It can either do it randomly or with user input. It saves the images to your disk as Windows bitmap files.
This is a fantastic little graphics creation tool. There are a no. of presets so you can click on them & watch as these presets (which are based on mathematical formulae) generate cool graphics. You can click to save at any point you want. You can also set the program to be a screensaver &, again, can save what's on the screen at any given point if you like what you see. The 'screencaps' are saved as .bmp files, which in turn, have other uses: as backgrounds for web pages, or as art for a CD cover. This has to be tried to be believed! Oh, &, it has educational potential, because you can change the preset formulae so that you can generate art from your own formulae. This made me really curious & want to learn more about the mathematical basis of these images.
