Russian Phonetic Keyboard is a free keyboard layout modification for typing Russian characters using a standard English QWERTY keyboard. Helps users who are familiar with Russian phonetics but not the JCUKEN layout, it assigns Cyrillic letters to their approximate English sound equivalents. 

Russian Phonetic Keyboard replaces the default Russian keyboard with a more mnemonic mapping. The tool works by installing a layout file that integrates with the desktop language settings. There is no standalone interface or application window. Instead, it silently adds the phonetic layout as an option in the language bar.
