From the developer: "ROSIM Systems SimKit is a Discrete Event Simulator used to optimise the design and operation of a wide range of systems in industry and commerce: for example, production lines and call centres. The basis of simulation using SimKit is a model, built on screen by placing symbols representing system components and interconnecting them. The user supplies system parameters associated with each component. The model is then run, generating behavioural data. The action of the model can be observed on-sceen with in-context animations and data monitors. An Analyser utility is provided so that results can displayed in graphical format. Other utilities are provided to filter data for uploading into standard office applications for further analysis. All SimKit's software modules are fully integrated including Planner, a utility that allows sophisticated factory models to be used to evolve operational strategies for production management and training purposes."
