Used Retrica - The Original Filter Camera for Android?
Editors’ Review
Retrica's cool retro filters make pictures taken with your Android phone look like snapshots from the family album. It includes 18 high-quality image filters that apply black-and-white, retro, and faded effects directly to images as you capture them. Retrica is free with ads and image watermarks. A Pro upgrade that removes ads and watermarks and adds more filters is also available.
Pros
Easy to use: Retrica integrates with your camera, so all you need to do is point and shoot, apply filters, and save or share. Finished images are saved automatically to Retrica's gallery.
Retro look: Retrica's filters did a good job of simulating the faded, washed-out look of old photos found in a shoebox. It's a great way to jazz up the usual family vacation pics.
Horror and more: Retrica's Cinema filters included Horror, Vintage Romance, Spartan, and other well-rendered effects.
Cons
Ads and watermarks: Retrica's free version includes banner ads and applies watermarks to images. You can choose from an extensive menu of watermarks, though.
Settings: Retrica is a bit light in the settings department. For example, we'd like to be able to choose where it saves files.
Bottom Line
Retrica's high-quality, easy-to-apply filters enhanced our digital snapshots. The free app has a lot going for it. If you like it but not the watermarks, go Pro. But the free Retrica app is a great way to get a feel for filters on your phone or tablet.
