In Research Story, you play a researcher documenting the plant and animal life of Shimmerbrook. If you like farming, fishing, and befriending quirky villagers, this game is for you. There's always something to do.

  • Pros

    • So many things to do, your days will be packed. | Animal raising goes beyond simple livestock management. | Mining and fishing offer a change of pace. | Romanceable villagers add depth to the world.

  • Cons

    • Stamina bar depletes quickly, leading to a grind. | NPC dialogue gets repetitive fast, which is a shame. | Heavy emphasis on reading; skimmers will struggle. | I wish the world felt a little more alive.
