Used Remote Assistance Helper for Windows?
Developer’s Description
Windows XP includes 2 very useful tools, Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop, for providing remote assistance and control of machines. What they are lacking is an easy way to keep track of the machines that need the support. Until now, you had to either know the machine name or look it up when it became necessary to connect to the remote desktop. Remote assistance Helper was created to eliminate the need to keep track of each name by presenting the IT professional with a real-time list of machines that are available on the Domain or Workgroup. Just select a machine from the list and choose either Remote Assistance or Remote Desktop to be automatically connected to the remote machine. And best of all, since it relies on functionality already built into Windows XP Pro, there is no need to load any software on the remote machine.
Version 2.5 has new tabbed user interface, management tab, Restart/Shutdown, and Ping on the remote machines.
