Relight is a fast and easy to use photo color correction tool. It can be used to quickly: Fix photos that are too red, too blue, or have been tinted some other color; Fix faded, overexposed, and underexposed images; Restore old faded photographs to their former glory; Perform other creative color transformations.

Key Features: Has a simple, easy to use interface (doesn't have a myriad of complex functions cluttering up the GUI like heavy-weight image processing and photo manipulation suites do); Real-time (instant) feedback and response for easy adjustment; Color transformation engine maps colors in the image to their correct colors; Correct one photo using the colors extracted from another. At Relight's core is a color transformation engine. The user indicates what color certain parts of the image should be, and the matching color correction transformation (or creative transformation) is calculated by Relight. You could, for example, correct an image by marking a person's face as being skin color.

Summary
With the rise of digital photography devices, be they cameras, smart phones or webcams more or less advanced, taking pictures is now available to all for the first time. At any time and any place, today, we have the opportunity (or the wish) to take a picture. It is not the prerogative of all, however, take a good picture. Many people, like me, are almost completely negated in the area of photography, and therefore have recourse to some software (more or less valid) to improve their own photographs. The process of Taking a photograph often does not occur in ideal conditions (bad weather or not ideal light conditions) Also taking in mind that not all devices renders the colors in the same way or correctly. The result is that often we get pictures that leave something to be desired as regards colors, contrast, brightness, and so on. This is where comes to help the fantastic "Relight". Relight lets you make changes to the pictures with regard to their brightness, contrast, hue, color saturation, color temperature, but even make transformations such picture enlargement or reduction, rotation or cropping true in real time. And when I say in real time, I mean really in real time! Relight it uses the graphics acceleration via the GPU (I Used to multi-core AMD system with an AMD 6570 video card) to operate at full speed, a speed much higher than other "famous" packages, heavier and more expensive. I tried to adjust the color of some photographs, even of large size, and the result was the same. The color and adjustments were made to the pictures in real time! Even the magnification or image rotation happens in real time, at speeds that were unthinkable a few years ago. All this thanks to GPU acceleration, but apparently also due to goodness and quality of the software. I dug into the author's website, and I found that the software programmer is an expert in graphics (2D and 3D). Not only, he is also the author of low level hardware accelerated graphics drivers for certain systems. So, he's a graphic expert. No wonder, then, the outstanding quality of Relight. I would add to this short review (which I gladly wrote, among other things) that the software is easy to use and is extremely intuitive up from its quick installation. A wizard at the opening of a photo already gives an indication of the precise measures to adjust and enhance your images in a decisive manner. Interesting tools and useful features make it possible to view (in real-time) the difference of the image on which you are working, before and after treatment, and before applying any changes. A special mention goes to the really powerful "Color mapping" tool (I haven't seen an implementation like this in other packages) that permits to map source colors of an image to desired targets colors, obtaining very precise and fast color transformations. Try the nice tool SCRAP (Scale, Crop and Rotate). It 'is implemented in an interesting way. Also interesting is the ability to print photos, or send it to a professional printing service online (Gift / merchandize), for printing on ceramics, t-shirts or other things. I personally don't use this feature, but hey, it comes with the software :-). On the other hand, it must be said that there are no functions that allow you to post or send your own pictures on social networks. But I asked the developer about this and he said that will be implemented in future releases. In conclusion, if you need to retouch many photos, Relight is made for you.
