When all is said and done, this tool for working with images scores the biggest points for its extensive collection of image-editing tools. It's nice that ReaConverter Pro doesn't take up much space on your machine, and we're equally pleased to report the program can work with a huge variety of image formats. The wizard-style interface is easy to grasp, though the help file leaves some of the more advanced features undocumented. ReaConverter Pro boasts a large set of tools for tweaking images, allowing you to adjust such parameters as color values, sharpness, contrast, and blur. You also can apply watermarks and add borders, though the program does lack the fancy effects and filters found in full-blown graphic-design suites. A preview window lets you test edits before you apply them, and you can add as many to a photo as you'd like. True to its name, the application also works as a converter, letting you output files in such popular formats as JPEG, BMP, and PNG. Be aware that the trial version can process only five files in a row. Seasoned users who often work with large numbers of images should consider ReaConverter Pro.

Could have been good, won't wast more time finding out
LauraAr2
Pros
the process is simple and clear, and it supports many file types
Cons
Watermarks trial images
Summary
If you're going to allow only 5 conversions for a trial, why do you also insist on watermarking them. I needed a file converted to .ai (from .tiff) and it worked. I was able to see the preview in Adobe Reader, however there is a watermark from reaConverter Pro in the bottom left corner. This renders my image useless; I can't pass it on with a watermark. Could have been great, the process is simple and clear, and it supports many file types, but I won't waste more time testing it for long-term use when I still need to spend time finding a usable solution.

Pros
first professional looking quality application I've seen after downloading 6 image resizers.
Cons
Would like to do more than just the basic operations it gives. The placement of options on the gui is kind a little off sync. Still a good program though

Pros
Clean Interface, Intuitive Wizards, Good Quality Output... Man, this program had so much going for it because it is VERY WELL done with regards to its useability. Very friendly, very easy, etc, etc...
Cons
Man, I almost converted over to this program FULL TIME but I am uninstalling it until they update it. I would give it 3 Stars but it is actually PRETTY GOOD, so why the UNINSTALL? Well, ICONS... Yep, I use the Icon feature HEAVILY and sadly this program does NOT do Windows XP Icons properly. I create 256X256 32BIT PNG files (FOR VISTA OF COURSE) and then convert them to Windows XP icons but this program creates HIGH QUALITY icons except for some strange SMUDGE EFFECT at the bottom. I do not know WHAT IT IS, maybe the ALPHA TRANSPARENCY since ALOT of programs seem to have a problem with this. But this program definitely does NOT handle VISTA ICONS properly let alone Windows XP icons so I cannot give it a 5. It squeeked 4 Stars because it actually does alot of other things VERY WELL but hopefully they will fix the ICON problem.
