• Awesome interface, like no other CRM i've tried

  Pros

  The first thing I noticed about Rave was the interface, simply awesome and unlike any other CRM i've used. They did a cool thing making it hosted but also downloaded to your computer, kind of like how Outlook works. I'm used to hosted CRM (salesforce) but need access to my contacts when i'm offline also, which this program allows me to do. Also, the price of $249/year is killer for what it does.

  Cons

  It would be nice to have other options available, such as the ability to capture contact info off of my website, and the addition of account management. A representative at the company told me that this was coming soon in another edition. Still, a good contact manager for the price.

  Suspect fake reviews on this program. Installation prompted many malicious scripts that turned to virus. Cmon DL.com! You should have caught this one. This download should be removed from site or an explanation from author would be in order. DONT TAKE THE RISK.

• Nice unconventional application

  Pros

  Nice user interface. I think this is one of the application worth to be downloaded, no spyware so far and I haven't being bug by any ads from their application- makes life happier!! It's everything except boring... <p> <p>I like the RSS application. it's pretty kewl.. it will display everything that related (that has been RSS-ed on the net) to your contact's name when you go to the contact page.

  It takes sometimes to install SQL server. And the reminder part not so visible for me. anyway it still ok.

  First of all I strongly suspect that the 19 reviews were all done by the author or somebody who is a friend of the author of this product. Why? <p>1. It is VERY unusual for a program having been downloaded only 96 times to already have 19 excellent reviews. Have a look by searcing for CRM at download.com. <p>2. Most of the reviewers have only one review to their name. <p> <p>Now the comments: <p>1. Too much to download. After downloading 22.5 MB and installing, the program still needed to download a further 37MB for SQL Server. <p>2. On installing the program it asked for a lot of personal information that it stores on the server. <p>3. On running the program, all drop-down lists are fixed, you have to accept what the program offers, no customization available. <p>4. To view activities of a contact, you have to scroll down if you want to view details, no easy click-and-view. <p>5. On clicking on Reports I received the message.."The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application." <p>6. Clicking on "Options"...The program has ONLY 3 options to set <p>7. Clicking on "Control Panel" I again received the message.."The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application." <p>8. It has no orders, quotes, invoices, email (except for a link to Outlook that I do not have) nor does it have any custom fields for contacts or lists that you can customize. <p>9. It is also totally lacking in details on even the basic data it supplies. <p> <p>And you get all this for ONLY $400.
