• Why even bother?

  Wastes lots of time if you are dim.

  Hasn't changed for the better since it began. EXPENSIVE optional pay items that are pretty much required if you want to keep up with everyone else. No real depth or gameplay, just selecting things from lists and pressing a button, and occasionally watching a bar move. Run by an incompetent man. NO NEW GAME CONTENT. From 2001 to now, nothing of real significance has been added, only more numbers and "reasons" to give the creator money.

  Summary

  With the exception of a few system that are fairly meaningless and work in exactly the same way as the rest of them, RWK has been utterly stagnant. It used to be a free game on a much smaller scale. After the switch over to RWK2, there wasn't much time before the old RWK 1 was dropped completely. Pointless, considering it was a text browser game consuming very little resources server side. RWK2 is also a text browser game, but they have you download a graphics pack to cheapen their flashier but still soulless production. I believe he started offering items for real money shortly before coming to RWK2. Yeah, I said he. Last time I knew, it was run by one guy. And last time I was around he pretty much demands to be referred to as God, and chose God as his ingame alias. I even remember when God's girlfriend made an appearance. Oh, boy. So what can I say about RWK? Oh, maybe that the brilliant supergenius came up with several too-good-to-be-true vaporware games, like Dawn, which was supposed to be an actual game, which had many videos and things but they were simple models and animations that could have been made in any 3D program to fake game development. Project X was also a thing Glitchless came out with after declaring Dawn more or less dead in 2002, which was supposed to be some kind of PC/Xbox title that, after YEARS of absolutely no evidence of progress, became yet another terrible browser game known as Nodiatis. Imagine Race War Kingdoms but with even more still images and clicking. Speaking of still images, "Dawn's" assets were used in RWK2 for the items and enemies. I noticed several 3D models that were similar in style, or identical to, assets for Dawn used in the promotion of that game (which did not exist on any level.) I'm still infuriated by the captioned screenshots acting as if there was a real game that existed and had a combat engine with which you could fight what was, at the time, the strongest enemy in RWK. It really did pat itself on the back! I bring this up because Donating and paying money for items in RWK was supposed to fund both of those projects. RWK is quite definitely a scam, as now the only thing that money goes towards is fuelling RWK and Nodiatis, and buying things to make your numbers go up. That, and the monthly contests in RWK, but with the amount of time, money and effort that you have to put into RWK to earn one of those prizes, you are better off getting a job in the REAL WORLD and making that money to spend on something better than A PENTIUM 4 COMPUTER. THOSE ARE OLD. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? And anyway, even if you wanted a terrible computer from last decade you wouldn't get it if you weren't a US citizen, because that's a rule. Most likely because he doesn't want to pay more for shipping. Further on that point, the fine print details this: "Exact computer system specifications subject to change based on availability, however, system cost will remain at equal or greater value." Equal or greater in regards to what? To what a Pentium 4 costs right now? To the alternate prize of $750 RWK credit? It's still not going to be worth what's required to compete with everybody. And why would you want to? If you're really entertained by seeing some numbers go up with no depth or interest of any sort, just play Progress Quest instead. You get the same gripping stat growth without all the clicking and paying money to someone who will never use it constructively.

  It is very detailed in classes/information. <p> <p>The combat is easy to do. <p> <p>There are some helpful GM's online. <p> <p>The intro is the best part of the game!

  Cons

  Other than the intro to the game the graphics are terrible. <p> <p>It's not a 2D game like the decription says. It's at best a text game with graphics. <p> <p>Unclear goals makes it frustrating for newbies. <p> <p>The fights while easy are increadably boring.

  it does have a very nice prize if you are willing to spend $6k to get it

  the admin is rude and to be considered playing you need to atleast spend $300 and then players are frequently banned for voicing opinions about stuff they would like to see in updates and a very large portion of the game has gone away from the name it has nothing to do with race war or kingdoms since recent updates <p> <p>i would not expect to see the game last long enough to be worth investing in

  People get banned for doing the annoying things everyone hates "and there was much rejoicing!" Plus if you get good by chance you can actually make money off of the game.

  Pros

  This is the best online RPG game there is. I have tried tons, probably almost a hundred online games looking for a fun one. At first, the nice layout and good playability kept me playing as I was a new player, and the game got better. It's one of those games that, if you spend a lot of time into it, you will be successful. Every month there is an Acumen Inquest followed by several other events. There are beast invasions and tons of other stuff to do, making me play and not become bored.

  Cons

  There's not much to say is bad about RWK...new players think it's stupid to have to pay for upgrades and all but if they would read the help pages and not ask too many questions, they can become liked instead of just told to repeatedly "stfu", "stop talking", etc.
