The Quran, Hadith and Prayer Times Toolbar has a long name but a narrow focus. While so many toolbars try to be everything for everyone, this Firefox and Internet Explorer add-on seeks to fill a particular niche, and does so very well. It helps you find mosques and Muslim businesses, determine Islamic prayer times for your city, and more.

Like any toolbar it takes up viewing real estate, but the Prayer Times Toolbar is nicely designed and not overly cluttered with icons and buttons. It's also easily configured to suit your needs. This toolbar performed well in all our tests, both for Firefox and IE. It conducted searches of the Quran quickly, and the results were well ordered and clear. The links to videos and forums, and the link to the Ummah Index for locating mosques and Muslim businesses are especially useful. Since the focus is global, travelers will find this particularly helpful.

This freeware toolbar has a specific focus, which is a welcome change from the toolbars on the market that throw in a little bit of everything but not enough of anything. Recommended for the novice or the expert user.
