Offers string, boolean and regular expression searching for files and folders on local volumes, and string and regular expression search in contents of files. Powerful filtering, designated search areas, and a superb PPC search engine make this the fastest local search utility for general use.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Iâ??ve used QuickFind intensively since its original release and it is the best search utility Iâ??ve used in 15 years on the Mac. It is dedicated and lightning fast (without indexing!), displaying its perfect set of search options simultaneously and easily accessible via one optimized window. It is so stable and has such a nonintrusive footprint (particularly when you use sideways-collapse at the edge of your monitor) that you might as well put it in your startup folder. Just download the tried-and-true applescript additions and experience what Mac applications used to be--small, uncomplicated, intuitive, powerful, and extraordinarily quick.
Wow!!!......KillerFind.
