Quick Heal Total Security 2013 for Windows

User Reviews

• Absolute Garbage

  Pros

Easy to source (in India), massive offline distribution system

  Cons

I can't think of a worse antivirus. Getting this is as good as expecting a "Hello World" program to clean up your viruses. It was being used by our corporate IT guy and it missed out on more than 250 viruses! That is a big deal! The viruses were doing all kinds of obvious things like DNS hijacking. It's pretty obvious that the QuickHeal guys are basically selling a bogus product with anti-virus detection that is even worse than Windows Defender.

  Summary

Definite, do not buy. Pony up a little more money to get any of the top 5 products. This one is seriously the very deficient in terms of antivirus capability.

  Pros

  None........

  Cons

Im using Quick Heal since 2008. Back then it was a quite a good antivirus. It used to repair and heal most of the infections . But not anymore. Right now im using Quick Heal Total Security 2013 (purchased it.) and all this while for the past few months there was this virus called "skype.dat" that was hiding in my pc , and too bad quick heal couldn't even detect it while scanning. I came to know about the virus when i installed malwarebytes and scanned my system with it. But too bad even malwarebytes couldn't remove the virus , but atleast it detected it. So this is the last time im using quickheal ... and after my subscription expires in a few months i would rather buy some other antivirus that can detect and remove viruses. im not gonna spend anymore bucks on this garbage called quickheal. Besides, quickheal doesn't even have anti-rootkit for 64bit systems. Sad !!
