  Pros

  Free, so if you can get it to work, great--if you don't mind the ancillary downloads/add-ons

  Downloads and installs unrelated utilities and browser add-ons

  Summary

  I tried three different URLs. One was a shortcut (alias), one was a form URL that worked everywhere else I tried it, one was a basic domain url (e.g. companyname.com). None of the three QR codes generated worked. Even worse--to me, it installed several add-ons and utilities without asking for permission (3 Zonealarm utilities and some "Cake"-something browse ad on). Zonealarm changed my homepage Internet Explorer and Firefox without asking for permission. I ended up uninstalling all of it.

  Pros

  It is free, so you get what you pay for. It does generate some so-so codes.

  Cons

  TONS of spam for get rich quick businesses. P.I. A. to register. The code program needs refinements...it is nowhere near as good as another program that is available for free.

  print function doesn't work correctly, ad supported, you need to give up an email address to register

  use a throwaway email to register, then unsubscribe/cancel the email. otherwise a decent basic QR generator

  Pros

  Unknown - I didn't get to the product as registration went to a survey requiring personal information. Wants buy into something called online business investments.

  Cons

  It's not the product advertised.
