  Pros

  Clean uncluttered design. Very light on system resources. Works perfectly. No Ads, Malware, or bloatware. Not owned by the MPAA (i.e. uTorrent)

  Tried all the major torrent clients, tried some of the minor ones too... I wish all software was this effective. No fuss or hassle, works better than any I've come across.

• New at P2P But So Far So Good

  Pros

  Easy to get going once installed. Creating a torrent file was a snap. Keeps seeding even when no one is leaching. This helps a lot with my ratios for my private tracker. The general information view for each torrent is easy to comprehend - not overly complicated.

  Cons

  At first I had trouble setting up. I realize now that is because I saved rather than ran the file during download. Even so, it took a bit of work to find and download the setup file after the initial download. Also, I have had some trouble finding help. There isn't as much documentation as I am used to with other types of programs.

  Summary

  I selected this torrent client because it is one of about 6 or 8 that is supported by the private tracker I use. (I didn't want to use uTorrent, maybe because I worry about being part of such a large mob) Even though I am not very experienced with P2P I was able to get qBittorrent up and running once I found the setup file. I was relieved because at first I thought I was going to have to learn how to compile and execute the program myself. Since qBittorrent is open code it may not be quite as user friendly as some others. However, I find it is not overly 'dumbed down' - a fact I very much appreciate.

  NO ADDS or anykind of junk like that.. Works Straight Away, had to faff on with tixati speeds are good

  100% cant recommend qbittorrent enough, simple, fast and does the job... when you are as thick as me, you need a simple torrent program, looked for ages, tired utorrent, bit lord, all filled with adds, but i am gunna stick with qbitorrent
