From the developer: "PulseText is a tiny and stylish text effect applet. Lines of text appear character-by-character accompanied by a pulse, then fades out. The effect can be seen above. A number of different variations on this effect can be achieved by tweaking it's parameters.

"Customise: font face, style and size; background, text and pulse colour; pulse/wave start delay, speed, and fade time."

A 5k download that does tons - rather, it does ONE thing a million ways. Very customizable, very easy to use and looks truly slick in action. And yes, there ARE instructions - five detailed printed pages of them - at the author's website. Just a click away.
