So far, so good!

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have had no problems at all with 3.0.6 and X 10.4.8, except for rare slowing down of web pages. After trying Privoxy, I downloaded the Vidalia/Tor/Privoxy package and installed it. That combination blocks ads and banners and enables anonymous proxy connections.
Whoa, nice!

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
It seems to be a lot easier to use Privoxy on Mac OS X than it ever was to use Muffin on OS 9. Pretty painless to install and set up. Even the browser-based configuration is a piece of cake, although (like it sez in the docs) one does have to know why one introduces change, as well as how to do it. Some features are redundant when enabled in your browser (such as popup blocking), but apparently harmless. I like the +filter {fun} option, which replaces hyperbolic buzz words with BINGO! (in red), and substitutes MicroSuck for Microsoft (in HTTP only, it doesn't work for file:///s for some reason.)
Wow

Awesome
